Today, the city is a leader in embracing digital technology to build a smart, connected city. The city worked with the Spanish company IMESA to implement an energy monitoring system that would bring them into compliance with the ISO 50001 standard across four major Zaragoza buildings: the historical Seminario of Zaragoza, which houses City Hall offices, the main City Hall, the main police station and the Technology & Art Center.
