The sun rises on renewable energy

In order to meet its climate goals, Europe is in the midst of a massive transition away from fossil fuels to renewables. With the help of ABB technology, Solarcentury built two massive solar plants in Extremadura and Andalusia, Spain. The two sites feature more than one million solar panels, enough to reduce CO2 emissions by about 285,000 tons per year.
